Antigua & Barbuda Esports Club Application (2024)
Across the globe there is an increasing demand for experienced graduates to fill future STEM/STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) careers in numerous business sectors.

A survey conducted across secondary schools in Antigua and Barbuda revealed that many students didn't see these careers as either attractive, worthwhile or achievable. It was also highlighted that graduates lacked many of the necessary LIFE skills that are key for success in their future work life.

The American Corner Antigua, located in the Public Library of Antigua and Barbuda along with several partners have embarked on a pilot project which is open to ALL students across Antigua and Barbuda aged 13 - 17 years old that will not only help them to explore emerging technologies but will also help instill values in leadership, business, cooperation, trust and shared decision making through ESPORTS!!!

Project Mission:
To provide opportunities for ALL students to use esports as a platform to acquire the STEM/STEAM-based skills and critical communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills needed to thrive in work and in life.

Project Vision:
To ensure that ALL students possess the knowledge and skills needed to be society’s game changers: educated, productive and empathetic individuals.
